Dear Readers,

The second Quarterly that we are pleased to present to you lists the results of the activities carried out in June, July and August 2023 by the various partners in the project “Making the Yangambi Biosphere Reserve a centre of excellence on climate and biodiversity”.

Through this quarterly, UNESCO aims to raise the profile of the activities carried out as part of this project by the partners, namely the Ecole Régionale Post universitaire d’Aménagement et de gestion Intégrés de Forêts et Territoires Tropicaux (ERAIFT), the University of Ghent and the Centre de Surveillance de la Biodiversité (CSB) at the University of Kisangani.

These activities will help to make the Yangambi Biosphere Reserve a climate science technopole for the entire Congo Basin.

Enjoy your reading!
