Palestine Museum of Natural History/ Bethlehem University have received a grant from CEBioS to do a desktop study on the studies that had been done on the Protected Areas in Palestine, but this project was the seed that bore fruit and led to a full review of the Protected areas in Palestine in 2022, reclassifying and approving them based on scientific criteria in addition to forming one of the bases for building the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan for Palestine, especially with regard to Protected areas.
