Success of the 2nd International Conference on Biodiversity in the Congo Basin

From 6 to 10 March 2023 in Kisangani, CEBioS and the Centre de Surveillance de la Biodiversité organised the 2nd International Conference on Biodiversity in the Congo Basin.

The opportunity to strengthen the awareness and motivation of (inter)national and regional political authorities to increase their efforts to preserve the Congo Basin, its unique fauna and flora.

On the programme, over 300 experts speaking on challenges and opportunities, taxonomy, inventories, global change, conservation, ecosystem services, OneHealth etc. Not to mention the wonderful stands, posters, and video contest, the drawing competition for children and the essay competition.
